ERP for glass decoration and glassware factories

Printing, decals, etching, firing and packing – Fabricus follows every batch of glasses, counts the breakage at each step and keeps the customer's own glass apart from yours.

What usually goes wrong

Breakage nobody counts

Glasses break in firing and packing, but the loss never reaches the cost of the order.

Customer glass mixed with ours

When the customer supplies the glass, it gets mixed with your stock and the counts stop matching.

Wholesale prices guessed

Importers and gifting companies ask for a price per piece for 5,000 units, and the answer is a guess.

How Fabricus handles it

  • Customer-supplied material. Record glass the customer brings in as theirs: it is used on their order and never valued as your stock.
  • Good and broken at each step. Each step records good pieces and scrap, so breakage per step and per order is visible.
  • Decals, inks and packaging. Every consumable is on the materials list with its last purchase price.
  • Price per piece by quantity. The pricing calculator shows the cost and price for 500, 1,000 or 5,000 pieces.
  • Designs with approval. Artwork files, versions and comments, approved before production starts.

Example: one order, the real cost

LineAmount
Decals and inks for 1,000 tumblers$120.00
Packing boxes$85.00
Labour – printing, firing, packing$96.00
Kiln time + overhead$64.00
Real cost per tumbler → price with 35% margin$0.37 → $0.56

Questions from Glass & decoration factories

Can I record glass that belongs to the customer?

Yes. The glass decoration template supports customer-supplied glass: it is used on that customer's order and not counted as your stock value.

Can it show breakage?

Yes. At each step the supervisor enters the good quantity and the scrap; the order report shows the losses and their cost.

Is it good for private-label and gifting orders?

Yes. Each order has its own design, materials and price, and the proposal is sent to the customer with photos.
