ERP for plastics and packaging factories

Resin in, pieces out – Fabricus follows each batch through the machines, counts good pieces and scrap, and shows the real cost per piece or per kilo.

What usually goes wrong

Resin prices move every month

The selling price stays the same while polymer prices go up and down.

Scrap hidden in the regrind

Rejected pieces are ground and reused, but nobody knows how much was lost.

Machine hours unknown

The machines run day and night, but their cost is never in the price.

How Fabricus handles it

  • Materials list with waste. Resin, masterbatch and packaging per piece or per kilo, with the expected waste.
  • Good and scrap per step. Every step records the good quantity and the scrap, so losses are visible per order.
  • Machine cost per hour. Machine time is added to the cost of the batch.
  • Last price or average cost. Choose to cost with the average stock cost or the latest purchase price.
  • Raw material and finished stock. Warehouse, department and finished-goods stock with low-stock alerts.

Example: one order, the real cost

LineAmount
Resin and masterbatch – 480 kg$672.00
Cartons and labels$54.00
Labour – 3 shifts$144.00
Machine hours + overhead$210.00
Real cost per 1,000 bottles (batch of 40,000) → price with 25% margin$27.00 → $36.00

Questions from Plastics & packaging factories

Can I cost per kilo instead of per piece?

Yes. Units are free: set the product and its materials in kilos, pieces, metres or any unit you use.

Does it react when resin prices change?

Yes. Each purchase invoice updates the last price and the average cost, and the pricing calculator shows the new cost at once.

Can it alert me when stock is low?

Yes. Each item has a minimum, and the dashboard lists everything below it.
