Warehouse software for distributors and storekeepers
Shelves with codes, goods put away where they belong, and pickers led shelf by shelf on their phone – with or without a factory behind it.
What usually goes wrong
“Where is it?”
Only one person knows where each item is, and the warehouse stops when he is away.
Wrong items shipped
Pickers take the wrong box or the wrong quantity, and the customer finds out first.
Counts never match
Items are short again and again, but nobody knows on which shelf or why.
How Fabricus handles it
- Shelves with codes. Zone, aisle, rack and level – A-01-02-1 – with a QR label on each place.
- Put away. Goods received go to a list with a suggested shelf until they are placed.
- Guided picking. The phone shows the next shelf and the quantity, in walking order.
- Scan to confirm. Scanning the shelf or the item confirms it; a wrong one turns red.
- Missing items. “Not enough here?” records the gap and tells the warehouse at once.
Example: one order through the warehouse
| Step | Result |
|---|---|
| Order WH-00103 · 3 lines · 38 pieces | 3 shelves |
| Walk planned in shelf order | A-01-02-1 → A-02-03-1 |
| Scans confirmed | 3 of 3 |
| Missing items | 0 |
| Packed and shipped | same day |
Questions from Warehouses & distribution factories
Do we need production to use it?
No. The warehouse edition has no production screens; factories can switch the warehouse on for their storekeeper.
Do pickers need special scanners?
No. A normal phone camera reads the QR labels; a hand scanner or typing the code also works.
Can web shop orders arrive by themselves?
Yes. Through the API or WooCommerce, each new web order becomes an order to pick.
